Professional User Guide for the Independent Living Fund (2006)

This document is a guide to the Independent Living Fund.

Important - the Professional User Guide is a guidance document only and does not represent every detail of formal ILF policy.  For full policy information please contact the ILF and formal policy documents will be made available.

The purpose of these documents is to guide professionals through ILF procedures; from the initial identification of potential applicants through to someone becoming an ILF user and how to maintain payments from the Funds.

It is important to note that the ILF is subject not only to conditions set out in its trust deed but also to constraints imposed by their budgets. Policies, practices and procedures are therefore liable to change.

The Professional User Guide is amended whenever an aspect of the ILF's policy and procedure changes so please check for updates.  You can contact the ILF for clarification or up to date information on policy and procedure.

ILF Trustees and staff attempt to ensure stability as much as possible whilst continually seeking to improve their service to all ILF users and potential applicants.

These document are a general guide and may not be applicable to individual circumstances.
