The Independent Living Funds (ILF) give money to severely disabled people, enabling them to pay for the cost of their personal and domestic care assistance. The aim is to help people wanting to live independently with choice and control over their care arrangements.

According to government statistics, of all the UK regions, the South West has the largest elderly population, 22.8% compared to the national average of 18.2%. And with over 2500 care homes in the region, as well as a host of other care services, Who Cares? is a very welcome arrival.
