ILF Review - ILF Press Statement

The ILF welcomes the statement from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mrs Anne McGuire, and is very pleased with the acknowledgement of the work already undertaken by the Funds.

We are committed to working closely with the Department and other stakeholders to take forward the next phase of work to address the medium-term recommendations in the report.  

The ILF has a key role to play in the delivery of services for Disabled people and will continue to engage in the wider debate surrounding the government’s overall programme to support independent living.
 
Our commitment to the existing users and applicants of the Funds remains our priority and we will continue to work to strengthen and focus the service we provide for the future.
